ReMORTED is a large-scale psychological survival horror set in a distorted, semi–open world. You explore an expansive, interconnected environment where distance, perspective, and spatial logic constantly undermine your sense of orientation.

This is not a backdrop.
It is a system that reacts to you.

The world is designed to make you lose yourself—physically and mentally. Massive, unexplained structures dominate the horizon, visible from afar, while the environment slowly destabilizes. Exploration is never neutral: the more you uncover, the greater the pressure becomes.

Survival is psychological in nature.
At the core of the experience lies a global perception-degradation mechanic. Vision, navigation, and sensory clarity deteriorate over time as the world grows increasingly aggressive. Moments of clarity are tied to decisions and consequences, and progression often causes irreversible changes to the environment.

The threat is not a conventional enemy.
It does not explain itself, follow predictable rules, or always reveal its presence. It manifests through sudden events, escalating pressure, and intense moments of fear.
